Our Library

Our Library

WELCOME TO LISAROW HIGH SCHOOL LIBRARY, we have a large collection of resources for educational, informational and recreational use. The library caters for all students with quiet reading areas as well as group work areas. There are 16 desktop computers as well as a laptop trolley for students use for research and/or homework.

The Library supports the Teaching and Learning programs offered by Lisarow High School with a core selection of Non Fiction Resources. We support the English 7-10 DEAR Wide Reading program providing an extensive collection of Young Adult Literature and a growing Graphic Novels collection. The Library is central to the support of our Senior Students, providing a welcoming study space during and outside class time.

In the Library, we celebrate Book Week and other notable literary celebrations throughout the year with a focus on displaying new books and upcoming authors to engage our students and promote a culture of reading. This year we hope to establish a Student Book Club to reignite interest in reading and promote Literacy.
